The 2020 Faculty Annual Scientific Meeting will be held on 10 December 2020 virtually. There will be 30 participants delivering oral presentations on their latest research findings. A total of 4 awards will be given to the best 2 presenters in the student category and the best 2 presenters in the staff category.

Jockey Club Children Oral Health Project Press Conference

Tooth decay in preschool children, or early childhood caries (ECC), is one of the most prevalent diseases in children which would lead to negative impacts to children's growth and development.
Supported by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, Faculty of Dentistry of the University of Hong Kong launches the "Jockey Club Children Oral Health Project". This project aims to screen Hong Kong's preschool children for tooth decay, control existing cavities and to prevent further decay.
A press conference will be held on 10 November 2020 (Tuesday) for the official launch of the project. Media representatives are invited.
The University of Hong Kong is hosting Virtual Information Day (InfoDay) for Undergraduate Admissions 2020 in October. Vfairs and webinar will be held on 31 October 2020. The Faculty of Dentistry is launching an Undergraduate Admissions mini webpage for public to have a better understanding on the admissions and program of Bachelor of Dental Surgery. The page also includes media interview on admissions which provides not only admissions information, but also learning facilities and interesting life at the Faculty of Dentistry, as well as interview tips.
